Feeling angry, anxious or depressed?
I think all of us can identify a time when we have felt overwhelmed with emotion.

As we grow up we are often told to behave ourselves and that it is wrong to feel angry or sad, we can even find ourselves adopting other peoples views whilst supressing our own feelings. However these are just emotions and we have every right to experience and express them but when we are told something is bad we then tend to supress it, holding the feelings inside and eventually burying them out of sight.
Did you know that we can store emotions in the cells of our body? This is why when we have unresolved issues we tend to have physical symptoms. For example if you are supressing anger you are likely to wake up feeling grumpy & tired in the morning and may well suffer with nausea. This is because anger is stored in the liver and, to fully heal, the anger needs to be treated on an emotional and physical level.
